Tacos Take It Easy isn't just the closest taco spot — it's the best one. Founded in 2023 in Old Town Leander, we built this truck on a love for bold Mex-Tex BBQ flavors that you can't find anywhere else in the 512. Every taco starts with premium smoked or braised meat, fresh corn tortillas, and house-made toppings.

We're located at 203 N Brushy St, Leander, TX — right at Night Owl Bar. Free parking, covered outdoor seating, and open Wednesday through Sunday. The drive from Cedar Park, Round Rock, or Georgetown takes less time than waiting at a fast food drive-through.

Those nachos had smoked beef then made into carne Asada, then added to the plethora of other ingredients to make this one of the best nachos ive ever had. The queso was really good too.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.  Yes. Just yes! Tacos fused with BBQ just works. Sadly, they were out of the brisket tacos when we went but we tried all the others. Each were fantastic but Pastor will always be what sets the bar for me and they did it magnificently. The prices are what you'd expect from a food truck BUT they DO NOT skimp on the protein. It is loaded and fat to the point you can barely close them but that's a good problem to have. The smoked elote has a really good smokey flavor and probably the best smoked elote I have had. You can enjoy your food in a well covered area with misting fans to help with the heat. It seems to be a great place to have a beer and grab some food with friends. We will be back. Perhaps when the weather isn't in scorching hell temperatures.

The tri tip is incredible, super tender with that real smoke flavor, and the smoked chicken has that same slow-cooked depth. Even the corn has a smoky touch that ties it all together. The queso blanco is smooth, and salsas are next level. The crew is super chill, and you can tell they take real pride in the quality of their food. Amazing cook, gives back to the community, a true inspiration. His food is worth any wait any time. Our family cannot get enough of the food! The DILLAS are delicious and griddled with cheese on the outside and full of yummy delicious cheese and whatever protein you choose. Cannot go wrong with any of the DILLAS. We love the smoke street corn, the best! Love the smoked tacos. The SMOKED TRI TIP TACOS are amazing! Great flavor you can tell food is made with lots of love. The green salsa is amazing. We got to try the chincon dog - take it easy take on a hot dog and that is the best hot dog I ever had! Loaded with yummy green sauce, cheese griddled bread, cilantro, beef hot dog. TACOS TAKE IT EASY is our favorite and to go place for the best tacos and dillas. Thank you!
